The Vessel

The Vessel is now back open and is so impressive, there is security meshing that has helped to eliminate any chance of people wanting to harm themselves on this attraction.
it is possible to get to the second to top level and the view to the bottom is just breath taking, this is definitely worth the entrance fee.
Some amazing Pictures to be had on this attraction.!!

Walking the Brooklyn Bridge

Early Morning strolling…..
I love walking the Bridge, but it has been getting some bad press with the amount of traffic and it being an unpleasable experience.
My tip is to do the bridge first thing in the morning, just as it is coming light, it is possible to get some great shot with not many people around and also this allows great DUMBO / East river / bridge shots from Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Also go up to the top of the Time Out Centre building as you can get some elevated shots that can be quite stunning.
Christmas in NYC

Rockefeller 26th December
I’m just back from my Christmas 2024 visit to NYC, as usual it was it’s usual crazy self but with the snow it was a magical time once again. The Rockefeller Centre was as usual Chaotic to say the least and we waiting until the early morning to visit and it was a easy to get some great shots of the Christmas festivities. It did get a little easier at night after boxing day but i would definitely recommend visiting between 6.30am & 8.30am. Plenty more Christmas related posts to follow 🙂

Central Park Snow 25th December
Central Park was quieter than i have seen it on previous visits, the snow made this a fantastic Christmas type feel and this did not deter the runners or dog walkers who were out in their numbers. It was much warmer than i have experienced in previous visits but still in the minus.
If you get chance to visit at Christmas, then a walk through the park on Christmas day is a must.
