Edge

Edge Observatory
Edge stands out as no other observatory does with its triangular shape and its 3 points that give out an amazing photo opportunity of uptown, downtown &b of the Hudson river and over to Jersey
The glass floor gives you the opportunity to test your "height legs" this isn't for the faint hearted and i have seen many people just freeze once on.

One of the best places for a photo that is slightly different to all the others is from inside of the observatory on the left hand side of the platform.
from here you can get a picture that makes the deck look like it runs the length of downtown Manhattan whilst levitating in mid air.!!
The glass on the observation deck slightly leans out which allows you to (if you have the nerve) lean onto it to get a better view below. It also has a gap in the glass on each of the 3 points of the triangle and if you squeeze your face to these gaps it can feel like you have a birds eye view of being sky high.
The Vessel
The Vessel is a large public art installation and centrepiece of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project in Manhattan, New York City. It was designed by British architect Thomas Heatherwick and opened to the public in March 2019. The structure stands at around 150 feet (46 meters) tall and consists of 154 interconnecting flights of stairs, 80 landings, and nearly 2,500 individual steps, creating a unique, honeycomb-like shape.
The Vessel, the prominent spiral staircase structure at Hudson Yards, is set to reopen in 2024 after being closed since 2021 due to multiple suicides. Four tragic incidents led to the closure, and after public and community pressure, new safety measures are being implemented. The most significant change will be the installation of steel mesh barriers along the interconnecting staircases to prevent further incidents.

The Vessel (Christmas 2024)
The Vessel is now open again to the public, this attraction is even more impressive inside. Once you start to climb the stairs you realise that this structure gets wider and wider the higher you get which once at the top (Top floor is unavailable and gated off) and look down the views are amazing and has a spiders web feel to it.
